Summer Game Fest 2022: The Callisto Protocol New Trailer and Gameplay

The Callisto Protocol has received a brand new trailer with brand new gameplay featuring more gore. From the creators ofDead Space, The Callisto Protocol will release on December 2nd 2022, and will have a deluxe edition along with it's standard edition, both of which will be exclusive to PlayStation.

Summer Games Fest includes a new interview with Glen Schofield after the trailer was revealed. He promises more enemies and more brutality, they also include a new weapon called the grip, which is essentially a gravity gun. So, let’s have a better look at the gameplay.

In the first part, you walk through a med-bay surrounded by corpses, and a torture sequence emerges as a hologram, where you see some of the medics get murdered by their patient. You walk through, and an enemy appears, and you use your gravity gun to fight him, pulling him forward and also shooting off his arms. When a new enemy appears, he is bloated and not so easily eliminated. You have the option to beat him with what appears to be a space wrench, and then stomp him a few times to make sure he’s dead.

Upon entering the next sequence, where you activate a fan. A limb flies at you, and then you shoot your enemies, and they show off more of the gravity gun. You can also see your character pulled into a propeller, which is one way to end The Callisto Protocol's gameplay trailer.
