Summer Game Fest 2022: Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Announce Trailer

Capcom leads the Summer Game Fest with a teaser to the sequel of the Capcom Arcade Stadium with Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium! Who said arcades are dead?

Just like in last year’s release, players can expect numerous features and improvements to the arcade experience. These features will work as both quality of life improvements to the old titles, or brand-new challenges for those that spent many a quarter mastering their skills in one of these titles.

The new features are:

• Online leaderboards for players to compete against and make their three-letter name known to everyone (If you see “LOL” up there, it might be me!).
• Display settings to personalise your experience with the arcade. Try out the arcade versions to get an even more arcade feel, or go modern and play on full screen.
• Gameplay options will offer accessibility (or challenge) to those seeking it, including increased or decreased game speeds and adjustable difficulties!
• Go back in time like Kronos with the brand-new Rewind feature, which will allow you to go back in time 10 seconds (in-game, don’t get too excited!) to save you or a friend from unforeseen dangers.
• Invincibility mode should make the worst gamers be able to pass even the hardest of challenges! If easy mode and the Rewind didn’t make it accessible enough, you’ll be able to make yourself invulnerable to pass, available as a free DLC!

The fun doesn’t end there, as players that own the original Capcom Arcade Stadium will receive access to Capcom Arcade Music & Lights, which will let you change the colour and music of the menu screens, along with the Instruction Card Backgrounds for those that purchased at least one title for the original, which will let them change the background to instructions of key art from all of the past titles!
