Streets of Rage 4 Launches Later This Month

Announced back in 2018, the fourth mainline entry in the Streets of Rage series is set to be released 30th April for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Streets of Rage 4 reunites classic characters Axel, Blaze, and Adam, while also adding a few new fighters into the mix. Featuring a stylish hand-drawn art style, an original soundtrack, and a new set of levels to beat down villains in, this certainly looks like the sequel fans have been waiting a very long time for.

Alongside the release date announcement is a new trailer, showing off Streets of Rage 4’s Battle Mode. Here, players can fight against each other in various arenas, either solo or in teams. This trailer also gives us another look at some of the classic characters that were revealed earlier this month, each one using their original sprites and sound effects.
