Strayed Lights Out Now

The debut title from developer Embers is officially here. Strayed Lights is an atmospheric action adventure game that places you in the role of a tiny, growing light and sends you on a journey towards awakening as you confront daunting creatures. Embers has also released a brand-new launch trailer, giving you a glimpse at the game's hauntingly beautiful environments, its enthralling score composed by Austin Wintory, and most of all, the smooth flow of combat with intense colourful battles. Not only does the game have an eye-catching art style, but its combat is also one of its most unique components, letting players shift between colour states (typically orange and blue) to parry enemy attacks while also dodging some purple attacks that cannot be parried. There’s also a chance to absorb your opponent’s energy if the timing of your parry is on point. For fans of games like INSIDE or ABZU, Strayed Lights’ wordless, immersive experience will make you feel right at home as it unravels a gripping narrative while you take your character from a newborn to an ascended being of light.
