STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town Reimagines a Game Boy Classic for Nintendo Switch

Originally released on Game Boy in 2003/2004, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town captured the hearts of players by immersing them in a colourful, carefree world full of farming, friends and pets. Now, the game has been reimagined for Nintendo Switch as STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town, set for release 10th July in Europe and Australia.

As the first mainline series entry to hit the Switch console, Friends of Mineral Town will surprise players of the Game Boy original with improved visuals, overhauled controls and tweaked "character engagement". The core gameplay of tending crops, caring for animals and interacting with fellow farm-folk will, thankfully, remain largely unchanged.

Revisiting the titular Mineral Town will undoubtedly be a nostalgia-tinged experience for many, but the work has been done to ensure that new players will find an inviting and irresistible experience here too.
