Stellaris: Galaxy Command Limited Beta Cut Short Due to Art Theft
The mobile version of the space-based grand strategy Stellaris, titled Stellaris: Galaxy Command, went live in certain regions. It was, however, short-lived.
Given control of your own space station to aid reconstruction of your space empire, in a player-driven world, it sees you make alliances, negotiate and directly impact each other's efforts.
But the developer, Gamebear who has previously developed Nova Empire, has come under fire for art theft. In a screenshot posted to reddit, you can clearly see a slightly edited shot from Halo 4.
If you look closely, by clicking the image, you can see the UNSC logo on the tanks, and you can just make out an edited out Pelican transport ship.
Needless to say, publisher Paradox has been swift to act, taking the game servers offline and posting a tweet about it.

We have an important statement for you, regarding the current suspension of our game's servers. pic.twitter.com/F8Way6ar9a
This will likely affect any plans to roll the game out to other regions.
Stellaris: Galaxy Command will be coming to iOS and Android.
