Star Wars: Squadrons Official Gameplay Trailer

Following the announcement at the end of April this year that EA were ending support for Battlefront 2, rumours began to circulate as to what their next Star Wars project may be, as the franchise is by many fans considered too lucrative for EA to abandon entirely. Some circles whispered of a Battlefront 3, with greater expansions of the multiplayer aspect, while others claimed that the success of Fallen Order would push them in a more single-player centric direction.

With the release of the first official gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons, it appears EA are listening to the fans and taking a page from both books, offering an engaging single player experience packaged with online multiplayer.

Star Wars: Squadrons is set to launch on 2nd of October 2020 for Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with VR support planned for PS4 and Windows.
