Star Trek Online: Unraveled Out Now

The 29th season of the long-running free-to-play MMO Star Trek Online is here with the Unraveled update, bringing a ton of new content, including a new episode, task force operation, lockbox, as well as Jupiter Gauntlet and Bringers of War patrols with an additional Hard Mode for an extra challenge.

Taking place after the “Terran Gambit” story arc, your captain sets off on a scientific humanitarian mission in the company of the newly promoted Admiral Kuumaarke to stabilise the Na’kuhl sun. However, a group of Tholians interrupt this mission, as they reveal a looming threat: a transdimensional Reality Vortex is disrupting the Multiverse and since it’s kind of your fault, you also have to figure out how to fix it. This new update also comes with the Looming Threats event, and with 40 days of progress, you can unlock a Tholian-themed space set that allows you to fire Tholian Warp Crystals to aid your allies and destroy your enemies.
