Star Fox Zero Delayed Until 2016
Beloved Nintendo personality, Shigeru Miyamoto wrote an open letter to the world, announcing the delay of Star Fox Zero. The letter also includes reasons for the huge decision. "Although we felt that the development had been progressing well," Miyamoto writes, "we now believe that we will need a little more time."
Whilst there are the usual reasons such as polishing the level designs and perfecting the tone of the cutscenes, Miyamoto mainly blames an "unprecedented discovery that we want players to experience in the game by using two screens." He goes on to say that technically, they could release the game before the year is over, but they would rather "polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play."
Whilst the delay will upset some and anger others, Nintendo will likely suffer the most, due to losing a big game in the profitable holiday season. As Miyamoto once said though, "a delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."

The reasonings seem logical. Nintendo has always been very open and honest about their reasonings.
Still not sure what's happening with Zelda however.
