Star Citizen hits $38 million in funding

Clouds Imperium founder Chris Roberts has announced in a blog post that Star Citizen hit $38 Million in funding thereby unlocking the Cano System containing Carteyna, a main sequence G-Type star, an aquatic main planet and 3 others.

At $39 million, either the Oretani System and its Tevarin Ghost World or the Kabal System and its Lost Human Colony will be introduced, depending how the players vote.

Chris Roberts is best known as the creator of the best selling Wing Commander and Freelancer series and currently is at the helm of the company creating Star Citizen which has broken crowd funding records on a regular basis.
