Square Enix Launches Collective in Association with Indiegogo
In association with Indiegogo, the crowd-funding platform, Square Enix have launched Collective. It aims to give you a place to bounce your ideas about and find out whether anyone would be willing to buy your game should it ever be made.
For 28 days, you proposal sits on the site and is judged by anyone who cares to create an account, by either leaving a comment or saying yes or no that they would support your project through crowdfunding.
If your project gets enough support, Square Enix helps you by working out how much it's likely to cost and setting it up on Indiegogo. When it's funded, they also give you a hand with allowing you to work with some of Eidos Interactive's IPs, currently Gex, Fear Effect and Anachronox.
This is a great way for hesitant devs to get in on the ground floor and find out if they actually have a good idea.
