Square Enix Humble Bundle Revealed
Square Enix has teamed up with Humble Bundle to offer a whopping sixteen games as part of the pay-what-you-want deal that gives a portion of its proceeds to Games Aid and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
For any size donation, players can get Thief Gold, Daikatana, Mini Ninjas, Anachronox, Hitman: Codename 47 and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. Relying on stealth-based gameplay, Thief Gold drops players in a world of secrets, backstabbing and hidden agendas where "shadows are your only ally, trust is not an option, and confrontation results in death." Daikatana takes players on a time-bending journey to stop a dictator in possession of the titular sword from rewriting history completely. Keeping with the Japanese theme, Mini Ninjas combines, stealth, action and exploration with well...miniature ninjas.
Anachronox meanwhile takes players into the galaxy at large to explore six planets on a quest to uncover artefacts of a long-dead alien race. Hitman: Codename 47 and Hitman 2 both put players in the seedy underworld of mobsters and paid killers, where they must use stealth and cunning to execute their targets as efficiently as possible.
Buying paying more than the average, players can also get access to Deus Ex: The Fall, Deus Ex: Invisible War, Hitman: Absolution, Battlestations: Midway and the Nosgoth Veterans Pack. Taking place in corporate-controlled dystopian future, the Deus Ex series puts players in the centre of a struggle between those who want the truth and those who would do anything to stop it. Battlestations: Midway lets players control the action in iconic WWII naval battles from Pearl Harbor to Midway.
For $14.99 or more, players can unlock Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut, Just Cause 2, Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days. Encouraging mayhem, in Just Cause 2 players must create chaos on the island paradise of Panau to shift the balance of power in their favor. If Central America is more your style, however, Lara Croft allows players to swap between the archaeologist-turned-adventurer and an ancient Mayan warrior to save the world from destruction. Kane and Lynch meanwhile takes the crime genre to new levels of gritty with it's ex-mercenary and self-medicated psychopath duo.
The Square Enix Bundle will be available until August 5.
