Square Enix Debut English Voicing for Star Ocean V
With the Japanese release of the fifth entry in the Star Ocean franchise round the corner, western gamers are understandably excited for the release outside of the land of the rising sun. There's usually a long wait after the Japanese get their hands on an RPG before we hear a great deal about the localisation, but Square Enix are on the ball, with a trailer released already, showcasing the voice acting for the English version.
Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness, the latest game in the series, foreshadows an unknown menace headed for the underdeveloped planet of Faykreed. Fidel Camuze and his childhood friend Miki Sauvester, and a mysterious young girl named Relia who holds the key to the story get drawn into a battle that may change the fate of the planet. Originally debuted at Jump Festa, the localised trailer showcases the English voice actors for the first time and features the theme song, Astra Nova, by Japanese rock band Androp.
