Sony's Shadow of Colossus film adaptation helmed by 'Mama' director  

Mama director Andres Muschietti is to helm the film adaptation of Sony's landmark title The Shadow of Colossus. The adaptation has been floating around for a while, originally announced as far back as 2009, hopefully the news of Muschietti's attachment to the project will ensure the films eventual release.  

Shadow of Colossus launched on PlayStation 2 back in 2005 and went on to sell over 2 million copies. In the game you play as a young man named Wander burdened with the task of defeating 16 colossi that roam a cursed land in order to hopefully resurrect a lost love.
