Sony Wants Your Help In Testing Their Firmware

Sony have today announced a beta program, intended to help test their latest firmware updates.

The beta program is expected to begin in September, with prospective testers required to enroll here. Beta testers will be able to roll back to the previous firmware version, currently v2.57, at any time.

The upcoming firmware update, 3.0, is currently being beta tested in Japan, and is due to add YouTube Streaming, although this is yet to be confirmed by Sony.
