Sony To Cease Multiplayer Support for Multiple Titles

Sony have announced that multiple titles will lose multiplayer support in 2014. Amongst the victims making way to create server space for new blood are all three Resistance titles, MAG, Socom : Confrontation, and Gran Turismo 5.

The "sunsetting" of these titles will be in three phases. As of 28 January 2014 we lose MAG, SOCOM: Special Forces and SOCOM: Confrontation, On 28 March 2014 boom goes Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3, Finally on 20 May 2014 it's goodnight for Gran Turismo 5.

It's a shame to see the online portions of these games die as they still have communities, but if it can happen to members of the Xbox Halo francise, it can happen to anyone.
