Sony Announce Call of Duty: Black Ops III Limited Edition PS4

Sony Announce Call of Duty: Black Ops III Limited Edition PS4

Sony seem to be releasing a special edition console for almost every big game launch, and that trend shows no signs of slowing. They have just announced a Call of Duty: Black Ops III console bundle. The limited edition console is emblazoned with the Black Ops III roman numeral logo, along with three emblems signifying the game modes- one for campaign, multiplayer and zombies. The controller includes the same 'III' logo, and a grey and orange colour scheme.

Taste is subjective, but this console does seem very uninspired compared to some previous offerings. The logo only consists of a few lines, so the real big difference in this console is that the glossy side is now matte too. The colour scheme is bold- some would say garish- and much like the Call of Duty games, there's nothing subtle about it.

Whether you love it or hate it, it's coming. It ships with a 1TB hard disk drive, the standard edition of the game, and the newly updated "NUK3TOWN" map. Call of Duty: Black Ops III and the limited edition PlayStation 4 will launch on November 6th.

So what do you think? Do you love it or hate it?

Dear god, that's the ugliest thing I've seen since your mum!

More people would pay for this than for his mum

They don't seem to be trying much with these limited editions... Seems to mostly be "let's wrap a vinyl sticker around the console and call it limited"

I was thinking the same thing, I'd like to see some change in base colours or size and scale... or even change the lights

I like the controller, not so much the console... orange analogue sticks FTW
