Sonic The Hedgehog Is Receiving A Redesign For The Movie Following Extreme Criticism

The Sonic The Hedgehog movie has received a lot of backlash following its first trailer. A lot of aspects have led fans of the blue-blur to pull out their pitchforks in protest, with the biggest point of contention being Sonic’s newest design. In fact, the outcry was so loud that it’s prompted the films director Jeff Fowler to respond publicly on Twitter.

Fowler stated “Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear... you aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be…”

The tweet was followed with the “gottafixfast” hashtag. Given the film’s currently slated November release date, the team are going to have work as fast as Sonic himself to alter the design on time.
