Sonic is 25, Guess What Humble are Doing to Celebrate

2016 marks 25 years since the 1991 debut of Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Mega Drive (that's the Genesis to our American cousins), and to celebrate, Humble are doing just what Humble do best. With a selection of games and physical merchandise, this is a very special bundle, to celebrate a very special hedgehog. Sure, he may have lost his way a little in recent years, but we still have faith in our spiky friend, and so do Humble, Child’s Play, SpecialEffect, U.S. Fund for Unicef, and the World Wildlife Foundation.

Pay $1 or more to get:

  • Sonic Adventure DX
  • Sonic 3D Blast
  • Sonic CD

Sonic's anniversary celebrations will be continuing throughout the summer, with rumours of a new game on the horizon that will finally bring the character back to form. The ultimate fan celebration will take place at the San Diego Comic-Con on 22nd July at the House of Blues. This one-day event will host 1,000 fans and will feature game demos, a special live musical performance from Crush 40 (of Escape From the City fame amongst others), and reveal new details for the Sonic franchise. Additionally, Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice will hit store shelves on 30th September in Europe.
