Dreamfall Chapters is the long awaited sequel to the award-winning and bestselling adventure games The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. After their severance from Funcom, Red Thread took to Kickstarter with the Dreamfall game rights and raised over $1,500,000 to fund Dreamfall Chapters.

The video above walks you though a section of the game, including a commentary. It gives a glimpse into what looks like a unique and immersive experience. Showcasing the social side of the game, the video allows you to see the vision Red Thread have for the title and how it is coming together.

Dreamfall Chapters  follows three characters on their journeys across two worlds — one a cyberpunk vision of the future, the other a magical fantasy world — as their stories and destinies intertwine. Red Thread are seeking to recapture the heart and soul of The Longest Journey and improve on the immersion and game mechanics of Dreamfall, in order to bring you a fitting, satisfying, exciting and emotional conclusion to the Dreamer Cycle.
