Sniper Elite 3 Shows Off Its "101" Trailer

Getting ready for some schooling in a little bit of everything--WWII history, anatomy, tactics and physics--in the newest trailer for Sniper Elite 3. Also, gratuitous slow motion killshots.

Dropping you in the middle of the African Front of WWII, players take on the role of an OSS sniper, with the goal of delaying, sabotaging or outright stopping the advance of Nazi forces. With a focus on stealth, the game emphasises careful planning and execution over a traditional brute force approach. Cue the 101 trailer, which aside from providing a quick refresher on World War II history (Nazis = bad), outlines some of the basic strategies for success in Sniper: stealth, planning and more planning.

And of course, the gameplay trailer doesn't skimp on clips of perfectly executed kill shots either, all of which use its iconic x-ray vision, in case you want to see just how exactly a bullet to the brain is bad for your health. 

Sniper Elite 3 will hit Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 27th.
