Silent Hills TGS 2014 Trailer

Today at TGS 2014 Hideo Kojima revealed a concept trailer for the upcoming Silent Hills game. The trailer depicts a similar atmosphere found in the recent P.T . demo which utilized claustrophobic surroundings and feelings of unease to induce fear into the player, rather than that of shock tactics. The trailer is a little less subtle than the P.T. demo however showing bloody handprints, an environment that changes and a large terrifying monster. 

Hideo Kojima is developing the game alongside legendary film maker Guillermo del Toro, the coupling of these two respected industry leaders is something that will hopefully lead into a must play horror title, a title that not only excels by itself but also as a part of Silent Hills legacy. 

Here is what the film maker had to say about the game:

The concepts we’re discussing, the ideas that we're discussing and the tools that are in play to create Silent Hills are going to render an incredibly intense and an incredibly scary game.

We look forward to hearing more about Silent Hills  and the ways in which it will give us nightmares in the future.
