Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and 7th Dragon III Code: VFD Finally Dated

We've been awaiting a European release date for Atlus' newest Shin Megami Tensei entry and the latest 7th Dragon title since the games were announced and finally we have one. Both 3DS titles will be released physically and digitally in Europe on the 2nd December 2016.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse is an RPG and features a story that crosses over with the events of the original Shin Megami Tensei IV as you fight alongside other Hunters in a post-apocalyptic world where demons and humans co-exist.

It keeps a lot of the familiar Shin Megami Tensei mechanics and themes such as demon fusion and recruitment as well as its exploration into the symbiosis of man and deity.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD however sees humanity ravaged by dragons in the year 2100. Taking the role of a dragon hunter you must travel through time to upset the balance of power and become saviour of the universe.

The game features three unique time periods, mythical Atlantis, futuristic Eden and present-day Tokyo for you to explore. It also features eight distinct classes with numerous customisation options for yourself and up to two other active party members with up to nine members in total.

Both titles, Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and 7th Dragon III Code: VFD are due for release on the 2nd December 2016 for £34.99 / €39.99.
