Shantae and the Seven Sirens to Get Free "Spectacular Superstar" Update

Good news for all the Shantae and the Seven Sirens fans. Independent game studio WayForward is going to be dropping a new free content update on the 30th of November!

This "Spectacular Superstar" update will feature four new modes:

• Definitive Mode: This mode comes with some balance changes, new dialogue, more intense boss fights, and a more challenging difficulty!
• Full Deck Mode: In this mode you'll start off with all 50 Monster Cards so you can customize Shantae's abilities!
• Rule Breaker Mode: This mode is like Definitive Mode but without limits so you can equip up to 50 Monster Cards at once to gain the ultimate power.
• Beginner Mode: This mode is like Definitive Mode except simpler! In this mode it is impossible to lose which is great for newcomers and those who want to explore the world and enjoy the story in peace.
• Legacy Mode: For those who want to experience the game in its original, unaltered form.

And for those who have beaten the game at least once, there will be the unlockable Hula Costume—which offers more powerful magic in exchange for defense—that will be available to use in all the modes.

Other enhancements, like improved dialog and the addition of map markers and game hints on all modes, will be also available on the pause menu.

And all of this will be made free on all the platforms the game is currently available on! These are: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Apple Arcade. Of course, this will also be included in the upcoming Playstation 5 release both digitally and in the physical edition from Limited Run Games.
