Sega Create Real Life Power Fist

In Dawn of War, the Power Fist is close combat weapon used by the Blood Ravens Space Marines. Essentially a mechanically-assisted glaive, it’s a hugely popular weapon and one of the most iconic weapons from the Warhammer world. Over the years, it’s likely that many Warhammer players have wondered why it would be like to have one in real life. Well, wonder no more, as Sega have commissioned UK production firm Rewind to make one in celebration of the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III.

Weighing in at 9.6KG and incorporating a pneumatic double action air cylinder, the weapon is something of a beast. The Power Fist is crafted from a combination of aircraft-grade aluminium and has been reinforced using an iso-elastic kinematic camera stabilising platform. This all adds up to over 3000psi of pressure from the fist, meaning that you can pretty much punch anything into oblivion with this thing.
