SEGA Announces Release Date for Alien: Isolation

Survival horror game Alien: Isolation, is set to be released on October 7, according to an announcement by developer SEGA. The game, based on the classic sci-fi horror film Alien, attempts to capture the heart of what makes the movie so iconic through first-person gameplay focused on avoiding the titular alien.

Players control Amanda, the daughter of Ellen Ripley, who is set to an abandoned space station in search of information about her mother. Alien: Isolation will be native 1080p on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and see release for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC as well.
