Sega Acquire Endless Series Developers
Amplitude Studios, the Paris-based creators of the diverse Endless series of games which include Endless Space, Endless Legend and Dungeon of the Endless have been bought by Sega Europe. The studio; formed in 2011 by former Ubisoft employees joins other highly respected strategy game developers like Relic Entertainment, creators of the Dawn of War series; Sports Interactive, of Football Manager fame and Creative Assembly, the folk behind the Total War series.
Amplitude Studios are well known for embracing Steam Early Access and the feedback from fans it gathers through their GAMES2GETHER platform. Players are encouraged to post ideas and vote on features in a collaborative process.

As part of the deal Sega will take over publishing duty for all Amplitudes titles including the upcoming Endless Space 2 which is due to enter Steam Early Access later in the year.
