Dawn of Equinox is a free content update that aims to bring Sea of Stars to what developer and publisher Sabotage Studio's idea of the game has been. If you'd like to learn more about this turn-based RPG that takes heavy inspiration from classics, you can find our review here!

• Players can expect the following content in the Dawn of Equinox update:
• Local co-op: up to four loved ones can get together to experience the game now.
• New co-op mechanic: Timed Hits.
• New combat features, such as the Mystery Locks, which allow players to break enemy spells.
• Combo Points will now remain after battle to allow new openings during encounters.
• The prologue has been revamped to better the experience.
• A new cinematic has been added to a pivotal moment.
• New difficulty presets are available.
• Speedrunner Mode Relic has been added for players who want to best their time or go for the world record.
• The Parrot Relic is better at tracking challenges and collectibles.
• Quebecois localisation has been added.

Additionally, a variety of quality-of-life improvements can be found all across the board.
