Scrolls Official Release and Spending Cap Introduced
The game, Scrolls, developed by the Minecraft makers Mojang will be officially released on the 11th of December on PC and Androids. Meanwhile, the iPad version will be completed some time after the initial release.
The game will cost $5 which translates to £3.20, but the cost for the UK is currently unconfirmed and may be higher or lower. Those who purchased the game within the two years of alpha and beta will receive a free copy of the polished game.
Alongside the release, Mojang will also be introducing a new aspect of the game which limits the amount of money that can be spent on the currency, shards, to ensure balance of the game stays stable.
Mojang said:
"We restrict how much you can spend to retain game balance, - This sounds unlikely, but you really don't have to spend more than the cost of Scrolls ($4.99) to progress. - All items are available for a reasonable amount of gold."
To help people spend less money on the game they've also added the feature of scroll trading so you can trade straight-up with a member of the community for cards or gold.
