Scorchlands Early Access Will Fly You to the Moon

Scorchlands, a resource management sim that takes you to a volcanic moon, will enter Steam Early Access on the 7th of February 2023. Combining science and magic, explorers will create thriving colonies on Helia, discover magical technologies, and fight dangerous creatures.

In a brand-new release date trailer, players get a peek at the main features of Scorchlands including hex grid-based city-building, complex resource management, magic and technology used to transform biomes, and a minimalistic combat system. Developer Ringlab and publisher Star Drifters have also released a road map for the game’s Early Access phase, and they encourage players to give feedback along the way. Players can expect a new progression tier, biome, special buildings, combat overhaul, and balancing in update one. Update two, three, and four can be seen on the roadmap visual hosted on the game’s Steam page.
