Salvaged Kickstarter Misses Mark by $105,000
There have been a couple of games we've reported on recently that have really hit a stride with Kickstarter. Shiness and Superhot, for instance. However, not all games on Kickstarter manage to click with backers.
As we reported last week, the Kickstarter for pad-and-computer game Salvaged wasn't doing very well. When it hit the final few hours, the note of frustration was clear in the update post.
We're in the final few hours, so would like to thank everyone for their support and pledges.
- Salvaged Kickstarter Update #8
It ended with only $20,143 of the required $125,000 having been reached.
In the previous update, it seemed that they knew it would not reach it's target. They explained to those who had already backed that development would go on, but with player pledges. Perhaps some form of agreement with PayPal as Kingdom Come: Deliverance is doing. They explained where you can go to get future updates, so if you're still curious and want to see this game developed, do click the link. Of course, we will keep you up to date with any news.
