Saints Row: The Third Remastered Getting An Upgrade
Last year's remaster of the 2011 gangbang hit, titled Saints Row: The Third Remastered, is getting an upgrade for current-gen consoles. We scored it pretty highly last year on the Xbox One S, but it turns out that it could have been better.
Volition have announced that the upgrade will bring graphical settings equivalent to the PC version running on high. That means better lighting, textures, and a higher framerate!
- The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions will run at 60 frames per second with 4K resolution.
- The Xbox Series S will have two options:
- Performance Mode, runs at 60fps with a 1080 resolution
- Beauty Mode runs at 30fps while employing an upscaled 4K resolution
- PlayStation 5 owners will also get Activities support, as well as a subtle signature Saints purple glow on the DualSense
The upgrade will be free to last-gen owners of the game on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S.
The Saints Row: The Third Remastered upgrade will arrive on 25th of May, alongside the Steam and GOG releases.
