RuneScape Inspired MMORPG Brighter Shores Reeleases in Steam Early Access
Fen Research Ltd is proud to announce the newly released Brighter Shores, a brand-new MMORPG that takes heavy inspiration from the great RuneScape of old.
This brand-new point-and-click RPG sees you arriving to the fantasy world of Adothria, where you'll start off as a town guard in the beginning area of Hopeport. The grided environment gives players the opportunity to explore a brand-new world and witness a new MMO in the making, as it grows and finds its footing in a somewhat abandoned and uncontested area.
As a member of the town guard, you'll need to start your adventure as a hero... by starting from zero! The trailer, "Brighter Shores - New Recruit Introduction (Launch Trailer)", gives players the capability to learn about the first few hours in Adothria! From foraging to cooking and fighting, you'll get a quick glimpse at everything that you'll be able to do in this new world.
Expected for the full launch is Player vs. Player combat (whether mandatory or optional hasn't been mentioned just yet), special attacks on epic weapons, and the fifth episode, named Stonemaw Hill. However, there are plenty of things to do already, and though these things are expected to launch in about six months, according to the Early Access Game section on the Steam store page, there are already four chapters available with hundreds of hours of gameplay for those who want to start it up. Become a legendary Cryoknight, Guardian, or Hammermage, and grow a number of professions, including the Fisher, Forager, Chef, Woodcutter, Miner, Alchemist, Stonemason, Merchant, Blacksmith, and many more!
Brighter Shores seeks to give every type of player something unique to enjoy. From idle gameplay to monster hunting and cosy elements like farming and fishing, there's a lot here for everyone who might want it! And best of all? You can start your journey entirely free. There is a Premium Pass available for players to enjoy; according to the store page, players will be able to get numerous benefits, including more stories, professions, and places to explore. Mentioned in the comparison between the free and premium versions are multiple things, such as the Mine of Mantuban and Crenopolis areas, unique character name, exclusive armour dyes, the possibility to change your name, and player-to-player trading!
Want to start your journey across Adothria? You can start Brighter Shores, which is available now for free on Steam Early Access via PC.
