Rune Factory 5 Launch Trailer

XSEED Games have revealed the launch trailer of their role-playing simulation game, Rune Factory 5. Mysterious events are occurring in the sleepy town of Rigbarth, affecting the runes that govern the balance between nature and humanity.

As a fresh faced recruit of the peacekeeping organisation SEED, you must protect the town from rowdy monster attacks, linking up with allies to perform special abilities. Though it's not always duty and honour in Rigbarth as you're also able to work alongside the residents to help the town floruish through farming, festivals, and friendships.

Players of Rune Factory 4 may import their Nintendo Switch save to receive additional items in-game, such as Lest and Frey's outfits. DLC sets featuring costumes of previous entries are also available on the Nintendo eShop.

In celebration of the launch, XSEED Games will be hosting a special in-person event at Honey and Butter Macarons in Irvine, California, where giveaways for fans will happen. There'll be opportunities for fans online to also get a piece of the action.
