Root Film's Western Release Premieres with a Feature-Rich Gameplay Trailer

Murder mystery visual novel Root Film, coming to PlayStation 4 and Switch in the West on the 19th March, is one gameplay-rich example of the genre. Root Film puts players in the shoes of young director Rintaro Yagumo, looking to make a name for himself by rebooting a mysteriously cancelled TV show known as the Shimane Mystery Drama Project. The reason for the original's cancellation soon becomes clear as members of his crew begin falling afoul of a mysterious force of murder. Is it a person? An entity? Who can say? What we do know is that you'll have to lead the investigation and get to the bottom of what's causing this string of untimely deaths as soon as possible.

Root Film releases in the West on the 23rd March for PlayStation 4 and Switch.
