Rogue Company's Cross-Play Support Unites All Major Platforms

Hi-Rez Studios and First Watch Games' upcoming third-person team shooter, Rogue Company, looks to bring an irreverent streak to a familiar genre when it launches this summer on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC via the Epic Games Store. Take a look at the game in-action in the newly-released gameplay trailer above.

While cross-platform support across select systems is becoming increasingly common within the industry. Not many games boast cross-platform support as inclusive as Rogue Company's. From launch-day, players on every platform will be able to enjoy matches side-by-side. Scott Lussier, Lead Game Designer, believes that this is crucial to Rogue Company, stating how the game: "is all about bringing together a huge community of gunslingers and giving them a depth of gameplay to show off their individual style.”

The 'heroes' of Rogue Company blur the line between mercenary and celebrity—bringing a sense of stardom to their high-stakes, combat-driven lives. Although they're vigilantes operating under the nose of the law, their sleek and sexy attitude garners major support from the general public.

Currently in Alpha, Rogue Company's existing array of characters, maps and modes is set to grow when the game releases and—hopefully—continue expanding over the years. Chris Larson, the game's executive producer states that the current Alpha players are "loving" the "tight, tactical action gameplay" and " modern, high-style universe".

Rogue Company is currently in Alpha and will release summer 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via the Epic Games Store.
