Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed Xbox One Exclusive

Rise of the Tomb Raider, sequel to 2012's reboot Tomb Raider was announced earlier this year at E3 during the Microsoft Conference, and now it has been announced during Microsoft's 2014 gamescom conference that the game will release as an exclusive on the Xbox One in 2015.

A new announcement trailer has been released as well but is simply the same as the reveal trailer from E3 2014 but with the added Xbox One exclusive. 

With this announcement it has led to some confusion on whether it will be truly exclusive to Microsoft's platform but since has been confirmed by Crystal Dynamics head Darrell Gallagher that release is in fact timed and the game will eventually come to PlayStation and PC, when is unconfirmed. 

Rise of the Tomb Raider is still being published by Square-Enix and release date is slated for Holiday 2015 for Xbox One.
