Riot Games Announces New Limited-time ARAM Map for Arcane Season 2: Bridge of Progress

As the newest Arcane season makes its arrivalon November, Riot Games is preparing to celebrate in League of Legends by bringing out a brand-new ARAM map for players to enjoy. This will be the first time players can take part in the war between Piltover and Zaun, though the rehauled graphics won't be the only thing changing with this iconic location from the show.

The brand-new map has a few differences from the traditional, linear Howling Abyss bridge. Due to the environment, the brushes will be replacedinstead with smoke vents, and a section at the bottom of the bridge will serve the role of an alcove, giving tanks a new entry point for teamfights.

Gameplay-wise, the new environments and sidelane bring innovation to ARAM, whichhopefully Riot Games will be using to see whether they should expand on Freljord's map. To keep in tune with the Arcane, Piltover, and Zaun theme, the snowball, shopkeepers, announcers, and towers have all been replaced.

  • Vi and Warwick
  • Jayce and Viktor
  • Singed and Heimerdinger
  • Jinx and Caitlyn
  • Jinx and Ekko

Finally, the trailer for the Bridge of Progress gives players a first look at the character making the shift from Arcane into League of Legends: Ambessa.

The limited-time map begins on the 6th of November 2024, which will be when patch 14.22 releases, and it'll be around until the 8th of January, after which point, it'll be retired from the game.
