Ride Your Shield and Find Your Missing Mentor in The Knightling's Official Reveal Trailer

Saber Interactive is publishing a brand-new title in collaboration with developer Twirlbound — The Knightling! This game, closely resembling Breath of the Wild from the quick look we've had, has you taking control of a knight-in-training as you set out on an epic quest to find your mentor... and possibly become the hero the realm needs!

As the apprentice of Sir Lionstone, the most powerful knight and protector of the city of Clesseia, you are still on your journey to being fully knighted. But, after a mysterious disappearance by your mentor, you'll need to search the lands of Clesseia to find him... and fill his heroic shoes while you're at it. Equipped with his shield at hand, you'll need to fight against a slew of fantastical monsters in this comedic adventure.

The trailer gives us a great first look at a lot of the elements, from shield surfing to questing and platforming! According to the Steam page, it'll be an open-world action adventure with some platforming elements!
