Retro 'Wired' Xbox Controller to be Released
Hardware manufacturer Hyperkin has revealed that it will be releasing a new 90s-style retro controller for Xbox One in Europe.
Called the X91 and officially licensed by Microsoft, the controller bears a resemblance to those of the 90s era in shape and size, similar to the likes of the SNES controller, ideal for retro-gaming.
"Hyperkin Labs has included the best of two worlds: throwback gaming mixed with competitive build quality. Our goal for the controller was to bring back the form factor we grew up with and modernize it for the hottest games on Xbox One."
- Jesse Aragon, Hyperkin Engineer
As well as being playable by Xbox One users, the X91 is also compatible with Windows 10 PC and tablets via USB and includes precision triggers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
You haven't got long to wait before you can start seeing them in the wild either, with the X91 set for release on 21st February and will be available in red, white and black.

Shame the cable is a bit on the short side, but nothing a USB extension cable can't fix.
