Resident Evil HD Remaster Coming Early 2015

Well it looks Capcom is trying to make us forget the decline in quality of their survival-horror franchise Reisdent Evil, by announcing that their classic Resident Evil will be making it's return in form of a HD Remaster.

The Resident Evil HD REMASTER isn't a remake of original PS1 title of the same name but is in fact a HD version of the 2002 GameCube title; a remake that is regarded as one of the best ever made.

Capcom haven't specified on released date except for early 2015 but have confirmed that the game will receive the same treatment as their other HD Remaster Resident Evil 4 which was released earlier this year on PC and had a release on console in 2011.

The HD Remaster will come to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox and Xbox One and will feature improved graphics (1080p for next-gen and 720p for last-gen), an upgrade to the 3D-rendered backgrounds as well as higher resolution textures and environments.

The game is also getting 16:9 support along with option to switch between original 4:3 as well as 5.1 ch. audio support.

It's looking like it's becoming the definitive Resident Evil remake, and could be a sign that Capcom are embracing their previous Resident Evil titles, instead of trying to push forward with all action like in Resident Evil 5 and 6, we've already seen Capcom can still retain survival-horror with Revelations so let's hope they return to their roots for the future.

Resident Evil HD REMASTER will become available early 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox and Xbox One.
