Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition Announced
Once upon a time Resident Evil 4 was an exclusive title for the Gamecube. Since then Shinji Mikami's critically acclaimed horror classic has been ported to PlayStation 2, Wii and mobile devices, as well as receiving remastered versions on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Now, it's getting another HD re-release, this time in the form of Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition which is heading to Steam.
This new edition boasts 60 frames per second gameplay which no other version of Resident Evil 4 can claim. It will also contain Steam Achievements and leaderboards, and is expected to contain all of the bonus content of previous editions. Users who pre-purchase the game on Steam will also received an 80 page digital art book and a 60 track original soundtrack.
Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition will be released worldwide digitally on February 28th, but a physical version will be available in Europe only. The game will be retailed at £14.99/$19.99.
