BRAVELY DEFAULT, or BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY in Japan, was a turn-based RPG released in 2012 for the 3DS with a battle system and art style that would insipire OCTOPATH TRAVELER down the line. If you've not heard of this title, or never got the chance to give it a go, you're in luck as Square Enix has recently announced the BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster.

In BRAVELY DEFAULT, we step into the world of Luxendarc which has been devastated by the formation of the great chasm and the darkening of the four crystals of light. Gather your party and master over 20 classes, such as the Knight and Black Mage, as you unravel the mystery of the chasm. Get to grips with the game's BP system and dominate any enemy as you fight your way through the picturesque land, meeting new friends and facing new foes.
