Rebellion Frees Up Assets For Battlezone: Combat Commander
Independent UK studio Rebellion is freeing up 1.6GB of 3D assets for its sci-fi strategy game, Battlezone: Combat Commander.
Players on the game's website can now access the 3D models and textures for all of the remastered buildings, characters and vehicles for free.
The studio has also teamed up with AMD and Chillblast for a month-long modding competition that gives fans the opportunity to show off their skills.
Running until 22nd April, modders who create outstanding content have the chance to win a high performance Ryzen 5 CPU, alongside a limited edition Battlezone: Combat Commander Chillblast PC case .
The competition can only be entered in from the Steam Workshop. Entries will be judged based on a number of criteria, including originality, creativity, how fun the mod is and what it adds to the Battlezone universe.
The winner will be announced on 30th April.
