Rainbow Six Siege Launches 'The Grand Larceny' Limited-Time Event
The latest limited-time event for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will see players swapping their Kevlar helmets for bowler hats and body armour for waistcoats, battling over a series of safeboxes scattered around a 1920s version of the game's existing Hereford map. From now until 19th May, The Grand Larceny event, part of Year Five, Season One will be open for all players. Check out the launch trailer above, and read on for more details.
Unlike typical game modes, The Grand Larceny's exclusive mode, The Stolen Goods, involves no hostage, bomb or preparation phase. It's a straight-up battle for cash, stored in various safeboxes around the map. Weapons will be limited too, with players only being granted their shotguns (customised with event-relevant skin). Due to "gameplay specificities", the following Operators won't be available for the event either:
Glaz, Nomad, Buck, Montagne, Blitz, Caveira, Kali, Clash, Blackbeard, Lion, IQ, Tachanka, Recruit, Twitch and Mozzie.
31 new items, including the ones that decorate players' equipment during the limited-time game mode, will be available to unlock upon the completion of challenges or bought with R6 Credits or Renown. Find them as part of The Grand Larceny Collection and Roaring Riches Bundle.
