Quake: Champions Announced at Bethesda E3 Event
"Yes, Quake is back."
id Software, hot off the heels of the release of Doom, have announced Quake: Champions, a multiplayer arena shooter for PC. Bethesda's E3 conference opened with a flashy trailer, before Tim Willits stepped out to tell us more.
Bethesda also announced they will be encouraging an eSports community for Quake: Champions, and also supporting it with tournaments later down the line.
UPDATE: Quake: Champions is being developed by id Software in conjunction with Saber Interactive, who worked on Halo: Anniversary and Halo: Master Chief Collection.
More details to come at Quake-Con in August.
