PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water Out Now
PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water—originally released on the 29th of July, 2014—has received a next-gen release.
This time, the game was published by Koei Tecmo - a change from the original, which was published by Nintendo. The new release features enhanced visuals, a brand-new Photo Mode, and a selection of new customizable items for the three protagonists, such as outfits and accessories.
For the first two weeks after launch, those who purchase the game will receive the special Ryza costume for Yuri. The exclusive outfit deal will end on the 11th of November. However, it is stated on the Steam page that it may be sold separately at a later date.
The game takes place on the eerie Mt. Hikami, infamously known as the mountain of death. It is believed that the waters on the mountain houses spirits, and an old religion believes that humans born from the water, and return to it at the end of their lives. Those in search of death, venture up the mountain and experience their last moments before they come in contact with the water, believing this to be the proper way to end their lives.
The story follows three characters drawn to the mountain: Yuri Kozukata, Ren Hojo, and Miu Hinasaki.
PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water is out now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam.
