Project CARS Goes Gold and Announces New Locations
Developers Slightly Mad Studios have announced the release date for their ambitious racing simulation, Project CARS, which will be from 7th of May onwards, after a series of delays to polish the game.
The game will be available on a worldwide release on Steam for the PC on May 7th, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digital and boxed versions, as well as the PC boxed version receiving a staggered release schedule depending on where you live in.

- May 12 - United States and Canada
There is no new release information on the Wii U yet.
The developers have also announced the final location list for Project CARS alongside the 'Gone Gold' announcement, with the roster available here.
The game certainly looks impressive, with a large selection of available cars for different racing forms, from karts to road cars to open wheels. Visually, the MADNESS engine developed in-house gives you an experience that is as real as it gets and scales up well for high-end gaming rigs.
Project CARS pushes the extremes in modern gaming technology, with 4K resolution available for those who have such a system, as well as 12K (4K surround) for those who want the ultimate in immersive racing simulations. The game will also support a variety of controllers and wheels, with the compatibility list available here.
