Project CARS GO - Project CARS' Mobile Version Gets Release Date
Developer GAMEVIL and Slightly Mad Studios have announced that Project CARS GO will be coming to iOS and Android on the 23rd March. It is available for pre-registration and pre-download on both the App Store and Google Play Store now. Players who opt to pre-register will be entitled to 100 Diamonds (the in-game currency) when the game releases.
Project CARS GO looks to bring the simulation gameplay of the main series down a few notches to a point the casual player might be more comfortable with, all while maintaining what made it appealing to petrolheads in the first place. It uses one-touch control mechanics to make the art of racing straightforward on a mobile device, but between races, an array of customisation options are open to players who can't get enough of fine-tuning their vehicles.
Racing games are always great technical showpieces for displaying what a gaming system can do, and Project CARS GO looks to be no exception, bringing high-end graphics and realistically-rendered tracks to the palm of your hand. Speaking of which, the game also boasts a slew of real-life racetracks for players to burn rubber across, including Brands Hatch, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and more.
The game was playable in late 2020 as part of a closed beta. Take a look at the video above for a look at what you might expect to see in the full release when it launches next month.
