Project CARS Becomes an ESL eSport
Developer Slightly Mad Studios and publisher Bandai Namco have announced that Project CARS is now an official Electronics Sports League (ESL) esport.
This comes after months of hobby-grade events such as those held at gamescom and Gamergy. What's more, they already have the first ESL-sponsored leagues set up:
The first step of this will be start this Sunday on September 13th with the first of several ongoing online competitions followed by our third live event at EGX in September where players will be able to participate in multiplayer racing against each other, time trials, and Twitch-streamed finals, as well as experience live music, commentary, giveaways, and a few exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming Project CARS ON DEMAND content.
If you want to attend Project CARS' first ESL live event, at EGX, you can find out how here.
